perfection for a matter of hours then they go so hard you could kill someone with it...

They are a big, big seller in our bakery. If you don't consume them while fresh, you could break a tooth!

i buy these , slice them quarter of an inch , then freeze them ,
5 mins out of the freezer , then fresh again./....topped with cheese , prawns , pate.....etc etc

The French may deny they are baguettes but I buy vacuum packed part baked ones.
Handy for the bacon and dipping in soup.

yes so do I... part baked.. and I keep them in the freezer, and bake them singly as I need them...

i tried the part baked small baguettes , but found you had to defrost the whole one , and it was too much for me, so topped up throwing half of it to the birds

my way is good ....
