We graduated in England aged 14
and here after all these years, you look the same but with a beard and mustache. Must be nice to look the same as when you were young. Me, not so much.

Well, 19, 26, 36, 46 then she passed in 2006.
We had some unresolved issues and they were never resolved. I was caretaker 36-46. Then moved to Missouri. Such is life.

I planned from age 14 and a half (not very carefully, but I was committed to the idea). Saved my allowance.
At age 16 I could legally quit school, work, and live on my own. So on my 16th birthday I took the bus to the nearest city and got a job and a room.

17. It was expected. I was the eldest at home, had my diploma, went to work at The University of Michigan. Never lived at home again and never wanted to.

What do you mean 'left'? They left me - dad when he was 61 in 1983 and mom at age 76 in 2006.
Graduated HS at 17 got married on senior ditch day. The last week before grad there were no classes, so I told them to mail my diploma to my grandma and went on our honeymoon. He was in the Navy so there was a pay check, he was 19. We celebrated our 65th anniversary June 10, 2022,our son took us out for dinner at our favorite restaurant.

At the age of 20 when I left for university and lived in a residence. It sure was some place to grow up. We certainly never had "panty raids" in the small town where I grew up.

19 ? Ran off to Las Vegas and got married. Didn't actually run, drove, and my sister and dad watching as I drove off. My sister told me my Dad was crying.
Anyway. what a big mistake that was!
