A very enjoyable nostalgic tour, and the similarities in the U.S. at the time were many! I still have a few of those “oddly specific kitchen appliances” gathering dust on my shelves or in storage. Although it represents a time now sadly fifty years ago, I could be quite content living in the world of the 1970’s…
