Hello everyone. New guy here.

Welcome! Good for you Mojave! I'm doing the same thing. I recently added some Probiotics for gut health (pill form) and found that it curbed my appetite so I went with it, ate a big breakfast, no lunch, early light dinner around 4pm, and nothing after 4pm. I dropped 10lbs and feel great!

Welcome Movjave. What is your current exercise routine? Is it fun or does it seem like a pain in the neck?
No it is absolutely not a pain in the neck. My exercise time is my "me" time. It is my best de-stresser. By including a lot of variety in my workouts and doing as much as I can outdoors it does not get mundane or boring. I basically do what used to be called "Cross Training". Moderate strength training 2x weekly, cycling or hiking 2x weekly, and Ruck training 1X weekly( ruck training is vigorous walking with a loaded back pack on your back. Often uphill and maintaining at least a 75% max heart rate the whole time. The name derives from the military or european term rucksack). Its what soldiers do to get in shape quickly.
So by doing different things each workout day it never gets boring.

Very good. I alternate swimming with going to the gym, but it sometimes gets stale. Once in a while I walk three miles in a little under an hour. Maybe I'll try adding a backpack sometimes.

Welcome, from Toronto @Mojaveoutdoors :)
Wow, I'm impressed with your exercise regimen! Unfortunately, my daily exercise has fallen by the wayside,
but I hope to get back to tai-chi classes one day.

It does take alot of time. But is well worth the time invested in terms of, feeling better, having more energy, and better mobility. Also it enbles me to do more and see more when I am hiking, biking, or camping in the backcountry.

Adding a backpack also has the advantage of adding in some circuit style strength training during walks or hikes. For example: walk for 15 minutes then stop and do some exercises using the backpack as weight ( presses, front raises, side raises, goblet squats, curls, tricep extentions, etc) then walk 15 more mins, stop do exercises, walk, exercise, repeat etc.

If you add something like a trx strap into the backpack and do some trx exercises at each stop you literally have a mobile gym in a bag !
