Am I drinking to much water?

Been getting these Night leg cramps. I do drink alot of Tea and Coffee at night and diet coke during the day. My doctor said my blood test came back that my Potassiun is high from taking a water pill.

I am on a diuretic, and have been prescribed a potassium supplement to go with it. If you are not taking it, check with your doctor

water pills are not explicitly safe. And taking them without the guidance and supervision of your physician can dangerously alter your body chemistry.

Supposedly, coffee and tea are diuretic and gave little help giving us the amount of water needed per day. My doctor told me he drinks 60 ounces of water per day. He said to drink water, Gatorade or juice, but a minimum of 30 ounces per day.

Tea, coffee and coke are full of caffeine. I would look there first. Actually, cramps may be totally unrelated to medications or caffeine for that matter.
