New member says hi!

You're doing good enough having a pet (of any kind) always seems to make the days less dreary and boring. My dogs always cheered me up in black days or down days.

Hi Pinky, Thanks for the warm welcome. I've lots to read and it just feels good having a place where I can go talk with other nice people. Trying to get the hang of posting and reading many discussions. Getting ready for a chilly night here. My dog loves staying outside but when it gets in the low 20s I like her inside with me. But she often has other ideas about that :)

Hi Kaila and thank you for the warm welcome. I will definitely check those discussions. So far I've only just come to this one, but will start reading those. They sound great.

H Kaila, Sometimes, even though I love that I retired here to the woods with all the nature and animals I love, and besides having my precious Daisy (there she is in photo), I do get quite lonely at times, so this sure does seem like a great place to come visit and chat with other great people. I too love the forest and nature, as do many of our members.
That Daisy looks like a very wonderful friend/family member!
Having this forum to interact with others is essential for me. I think you will enjoy it as well, and hope that you do!
