Shocking moment Ohio teacher lifts up disabled child, 9, and THROWS her to ground:

It's sickening and yes nuns can be like that. A friend of mine works teaching brain damaged people to read again and his patience is commendable. He's just what a recovering disabled person needs. If you can't be patient with the disabled, find another job.

I saw a pissed off kid in 11th grade hit a study hall teacher back in high school. He was expelled and never allowed to return. Even back then, we had zero tolerance for striking a teacher. The teacher didn't deserve it. He called the kid out for chewing gum. Something so dumb as that and you hit a teacher?

Unless you were there & witnessed everything that occurred, you have no way of knowing whether the teacher deserved it.
There are many ways of reprimanding a kid for chewing gum. Some teachers are unfit for teaching.

I'd like to think that I'd be in jail on felony assault on the teacher who tossed my child like that.

Just like cops and their egos "I rule this school, you're nothing here"
I absolutely agree..unfortunately for me..probably.. I would be in Jail..but that teacher would never have the ability to throw a ball never mind another child.. if she had thrown my child...

I was there. We were in study hall, which at that time was held in the auditorium where 4 classes would be on study hall with 1 or maybe 2 teachers overseeing the classes. The teacher that was punched asked the badass kid “Are you chewing gum?” His answer was “Yeah, so what?” The teacher told him to come to the front and spit it in the waste can. Instead, he walked up and to where the teacher was and punched him and then left the building. He was in trouble several times before, so this incident sealed his fate.

In high school, we were required to take certain classes & some of them were completely useless & boring to me.
Two of them I found boring were English Literature & Biology.
The biology teacher was frustrated with me because I wasn't paying attention. When he discussed my low grades, I was polite & respectful - at first, & said, "Well, I just don't find the class interesting."
Then, he said, "Either you're lazy or stupid."
I said, "You're teaching me a valuable lesson right now."
He asked, "What lesson?"
I said, "Even a complete idiot can be a teacher."
He sprang up from his chair. I said, "Sit down, teach; I can't tell if you're sitting or standing, anyway." (he was short, around 5'1").
I was transferred to a different biology class.

No. When Mrs. Levy told me on a school trip (my son went to same kindergarten as I did) I apologized to her for my reaction to the news Mrs. Snyder was dead. She was so mean.
And it's OK to be glad that woman was dead. I had a teacher verbally bully me in school. Not what I'm reading on this thread, but I didn't need her sh**. A year or two after I got out of high school, I remember seeing her at the fruit stand. I almost lost my mind. I've thought of her and I hope she's dead and gone by now. She was a POS.
