Absolutely! Over the years we've learned much from you, this one is really important.
My brother and I were just talking about the illegal border crossing of people into the United States. My view is that all the states, counties, and cities that have declared themselves sanctuary places should just shut up and put out helping these people that have illegally crossed the border into the United States. If there are complaints about how these people behave and act it should be made to government officials that have allowed this thing to happen. I see it as a good thing that the illegal people are being sent to sanctuary cities for, they in part have led up to this mass immigration of people.

Recently learned of the huge homeless population on the streets, and immigrant problem around the Denver metro area.
Seems like it escalated quickly.
Family around there is leaving the state ... they are finding it unlivable. Sad.
I would tell but I would be delving into politics, and you know the answer anyway.

Yes! Same deal here in Canada. They are coming in by the plane loads day after day. Many say they will do the work Canadians don't want.
There is now a vast shortage of room at hospitals, schools and affordable housing. Many of them are being "ripped off" as they don't know the "Canadian" way. Some of them are starting to demand their rights.

I am here because of the people who left their home, all they knew, to take a chance for a better life for their children and the generations of family to come. They settled in Maryland and built a life here. They worked hard just to have a roof over their head and food on the table. Here we are the future generation 400 years later. I am grateful and in awe of their courage.
Many of those that come here just want the opportunity to build a good life for there families. They are prepared to work hard and contribute to their new community. Yes, there are some who come here for bad reasons, we need to find a way to identify them. If there is abuse of the system, it should be addressed but not every person crossing borders is coming here for the wrong reasons.

Most everything the Federal government does nowadays is not constutional.

It's obvious that the government actually want them here, as they are falling over backwards to make them feel welcome.

I’m no expert on immigration, but I believe most who are apprehended claim to be asylum seekers. The cartels behind much of the immigration have been shown to provide written instructions on how to claim asylum. Fear of gun violence seems like an easy thing to claim. Personally I suspect that most are simply seeking a better life in general and fear of guns is just one of many elements driving them, economics perhaps being the most important.

Did OK at it, but didn’t put enough food on the table of his ambition
Became a roofer’s helper

A finish carpenter
Took no hand outs
Paid his way
Now has his own business
I just sent a notarized letter to a dept here in Oregon, telling them why he should remain here while he studies to become a citizen
A recent update;
His mom was assassinated
Right in her home
Point blank to the temple
They (I hear they were federales) were professionals

just one

Just rattles around the skull, doing Its lethal damage
His son, my grandson;
Graduated The Oregon National Guard Youth Challenge Program (OYCP)
With honors
I had the privilege of being his mentor

this is what we're told so that we'll except these people into our country.. ''they do the work Brits won't do''... not true. The fact is most come here already very aware of how to work the system.. arrive with kids knowing they will get social security and public housing because they have children with them ... and join up with many from their homeland who are very wise on how to milk the system, and in the meantime our crime rate goes sky high ....
Not to say all immigrants do this.. I know many who have a job and live in private rented accomodation, those have come to improve their lives ..those are the ones we need.. but they are in the minority... that's fact!!

The immigration system is broken. And I think some people like it that way. It’s putting a strain on our infrastructur as well. I’ve seen what has happened in schools and what’s happened to our crime rate. Something’s gotta give. And I don’t see any politician of any party who is truly willing to fix it.

I don’t have a problem with legal immigration but what’s going on at the Mexican border is one of desperation. I think some of it is due to our policies and the demand for drugs in our country. I think it would be better to win the war on drugs putting the drug lords out of business and make better policies in these countries.
These people are leaving their countries because it’s totally inhospitable for them in part due to our doings. They just want a place to live & work.

Because at least half of them see it only as the flood of future votes. And that half is currently in control.
