Impulsively decided to hold a Christmas Open House gathering this year. The invitation basically said drop in anytime between noon and 6.00, we’ll serve light hors d'oeuvres and some festive alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks.
I was pleasantly surprised that almost everyone we invited showed up, considering that the invitation was pretty last minute! We had a lovely time!
My ex-sister in law who’s been my best friend for 45 years, and a couple of her kids and one of her grandkids drove two abs a half hours from Huntsville to spend the afternoon with us! That was an extra special treat!
