$10 for a nutcracker. I have one so haven’t looked at the prices. Buying bags of nuts to crack at Christmas was a tradition. Can’t afford them or the nutcracker now.

Packaging in general has gotten ridiculous. You can injure yourself trying to open some packaging with pair of scissors or a knife. No need to ask how I know.

Oh I've been there also. If it's a prescription liquid, always ask them to swap out to a regular cap. I had this happen with a liquid medication that can get sticky and stuck (Donatol, an stomach antispasmodic) The stuff is pricey and the next refill, I insisted on a regular cap.

Best is to try and get it flat again and then retry.

Obviously you haven't tried it while standing on your left leg with your right arm behind your back and your eyes shut......easy peasy.

Years ago, my daughter had to have 4 hours of microsurgery to save her index finger after trying to open a plastic package with a sharp knife.

I have that same kind of bottle. Once I got it open I never closed it again. The cap just sits on top not fastened. I keep it on my medicine chest where I can be careful not to knock it over. What a pain!
