US, you? Merry Christmas to you as well. Oh, I've a question, on my replies I didn't put an @, should I have to let them know I answered? Or do they get a notification anyway? Wasn't sure since I'm new here. Thanks.I would imagine she'll come along and welcome you...Merry Christmas are you in the UK or the US ?
Look again at the car, two of those "headlights" are the car horns, it's the way it was back then.Horseless Carriage, I appreciate your kind words and warm welcome.
Oh my, your carriage/car looks quite vintage, very nice, do tell, why so many headlights?
Great Shakespeare quote as well.

YesThank you, appreciate your welcome, and btw, do you happen to have some warm weather? If so, could you send it my way? I'm in the Midwest freezing.
We came to Cali from Iowa in 1969, so I know from whence you speak. Meanwhile I've set up a large fan outside. Pointing East. Every little bit helps. And BTW can we have a bit of your fresh water? All that snow and ice melting and flowing into the Mississippi. Such a tragic waste! Our children here are thirsty. They don't have enough to drink.Thank you, appreciate your welcome, and btw, do you happen to have some warm weather? If so, could you send it my way? I'm in the Midwest freezing.
If you are a Scrabble player you might be interested in WWF (Words with Friends) online. Its a free game app for your smartphone, much like Scrabble. I've been playing this for many years and made several lasting friendships. Do check it out, if you are interested. My WWF handle is Shansen404. If you need help getting started with the app, just HMUThank you, and btw, Scrabble happens to be one of my favorite games.
I'm in Toronto, Ontario .. Canada.@Pinky, US, and you? Thank you for the welcome, appreciate it.
It sounds like great fun, but tbh I am terrible with my smartphone. lol Just don't have the speedy thumb typing down like my kids do. lol I'll make a note of your screen name there and plan to check it out shortly. Indeed, it's the journey, not the destination.Welcome, @Iris939.
Well I suppose the Mississippi river water would be suitable for fighting fires, and its tributaries might be drinkable, hm. Actually makes me think of when my kids were small, we had a spring fed creek that ran through our property, and we often had adventures walking along the creek where we were sure to find fish, crawfish, turtles, and beautiful rock formations. We often stopped near a small rock shelf, the drop off wasn't more than 5 or 6 inches, but it was enough to form a miniature waterfall. On some days we brought along sandwiches, and we'd stop there to listen to the sound of the waterfall while having our lunch.Yes

You don't have to be proficient with your phone. I'm not either. But if you like Scrabble there is just no way you wont like WWF. Its only downside is throwing ads at you. But that's how the virtual world works. Anything worth seeing and doing and using on the Internet is going to throw ads at you. It is just the way of the world.
