Welcome from a fellow newbie! I haven't bin participating much yet, cuz I'm still replying to all the folks wot welcomed me, one-by-one! I'm in Southern Ontario, Canada, 71 years OLD, widowed n' live with me daughter, Melodie. The reason I spell some werds funny is ... well ... acturely, I don't KNOW why! Fancy that, eh? :confused: Anyways ... my personal verdict on this place, so far ... based upon very lickle experience ear, is that it's a whole lotta fun, with a whole lotta fun people! In 1970 I was only seven, my impressions of the Vietnam era shaped by the stories my older two brothers and sister brought back with them from college. News of the Vietnam war, of my brothers draft numbers, of mostly peaceful protests on campus, and of hippies and flower children...

It was a line in this song that inspired my user title, pretty simple, lol. I'm a bit older than you. ;)
