Hello Everybody! It's ME!

Welcome from the left coast.😁
Hiya Shalimar! Sorry I've took so long to say, "thank you", but I'm thanking everyone individdley (sp), and I seem to be losing track of who I've thanked, n' who I've accidentally ignored, so far! I'm 71, n' easily confused. That's the excuse I like to use, now that I'm getting up there. Of course, I can't use it with my Mother, who's 95 n' keeps telling me, "Wait until yer're MY age!" Oh, blimey ... I sure HOPE that don't happen!! 😲 So, anyway ... did I say "thank you" yet? Well, I see it up there, but it's not in it's proper context. Ergo, THANK YOU, left coast! Hope to see you again, once I finally make it down to the forum! :)

Welcome to the forum, TJ! I'm in T.O. but lived in N.F. for several years back in the late 70's/early 80's. Our
daughter was born there. You've got a lot of good forests and trails out that way, that we miss.

Hiya, Pinky! Sorry I'm late saying, "Thank You, eh?", but "Thank You, eh?" I've bin writing personal "Thank You, eh?"s to everyone who's took the time to say, "Welcome, eh?" n' it's a tad time-consuming, but worth it, I feel. N' some of the folks have replied to my, "Thank You, eh?" posts n' blah-blah, blah-blah (eh?). So yer're in good ol' T.O. Sure do know that burg well! Or at least, I used to. Don't have a license to drive any more. And even if I did, I wouldn't be doing no driving to Tronno! Couldn't handle the crazy drivers (no offense if you're one of 'em). Ya know, I got so many stories I could tell you ... things we could chat aboot ... Ti-Cats vs. Argos n' stuff ... that I sincerely hope me n' you can become good pals! But for now, thanks again, Pinky, n' I'll see you in the forum, eh? :)

Well it's about time!! We have been where you were at LOL!
Hi there, Blessed! I'm pretty sure I haven't said "thank you" to you yet. Sorry about that, but I'm answering everyone individually, but not necessarily in the correct order! Does yer're message to me mean yer've bin to Southern Ontario? If so, then belated, "Welcome to Canada, eh?" And thanks, for your welcome to me! Be seeing you in the forum. :)

No, I have never been to Ontario but would love to see it. The "just me" is something my son says everytime he calls me, made me giggle. Glad you have joined us!

Welcome TJ! I'm in Beautiful B.C., DH also posts here now and then.
Hi there! Never bin to BC, but I sure wish I'd DID bin! By the sounds of how nice it is, mebbe I would've stayed! Got some cousins oot there, but that don't do ME no good, do it? But I digress. What I REALLY wanted to say was, "Thanks for the welcome, eh?" :)

G'Day @TeeJay from DownUnder in South Australia where it is going to be hot for Christmas....as usual

G'Day, eh? "Peramangkelder"!! CRIKEY! That's a blithering mouthful, innit mate? Sorry I'm a tad late answering yer're "welcome" post, but I bin answering other "welcome" posts one-at-a-time, n' I've totally lost the chronological order of 'em all! N' ear you are on Page One! N' I got me 9 more on this page alone! Anyways ... Thank you very much from the Great UpOver, which is mostly white n' windy right now! Ya know, I've bin doing the Seniors' Forums circuit for yonks n' yonks now, n' I've met mebbe 10,000 of youse Aussies! N' I can honestly say, there ain't bin a bum in the lot! It's kinda like youse guys n' us Canucks understand n' identify wiv one another in some mystical way, eh? Matter of fact, now that I recall, me very first cyber-pal was a lass by the name of Rainee! Me n' she used to instant message when it was late at night up ear, n' mid-morning there ... or vicey-versey.

I guess now youse can unnerstand, wot wiv the length of me "thank-you" posts, why it's took so long to get to youse's, eh? Better go on to the next one, methinks. Anyways, I'll be seeing ya in the forum, mate. If I ever get oot of THIS thread, I mean. Thanks again for the welcome, eh? :)

It's a pleasure to meet you @TeeJay, pull up a chair and make yourself at home.🪑

Hiya Tish! I was just saying "Thanks, eh?" to a fellow Aussie of yours! I bin a long time now answering everybody, cuz me main trubble is, I'm a long-winded olde dude, n' ergo-schmergo ... me posts tend to be a tad excessively long! So, I'll just say, "It's a pleasure to meet you too!" n' "Thanks for the welcome, from the Great UpOver!" Hope you had a great, summery Christmas (that's a VERY strange concept for me)! All the best in the New Year n' stuff. See you in the forum proper, eh? :)

Hello there, MountainRa! Not sure if yer're a lady, or a dude. I'm sure there's a way of finding oot, which is wot I should've done before starting this, eh? But never mind ... onward n' upward! I appreciate the welcome! I love all Americans! One in particular from Pittsburgh Pa, whom I married! Even had two American girlfriends before her! Anyways, be seeing you in the forum, eh? And thanks again! :)

Hi Devi! Thanks for the welcome, eh? Also, for the condolences.:) You're not so very far from Seattle, a city for which Sue n' me had a kinda soft spot. Cuz we used to be able to get Komo TV, and enjoyed watching their news coverage. Meself, I had a crush on Mary n' Molly. But it was okay, cuz Sue knew about it (them?). Anyways, sorry I'm a tad late writing this. I gotta lotta nice welcomes, n' I'm answering each one of 'em separately n' also kinda longly. Just like this one is! Ergo, it's taking me a long time. Once again, thanks, eh? And I hope you both had a nice Christmas! :)

Hello TeeJay
I live in the same area of Ontario and yes we had a stormy blast but not too bad now and yes while we have a lot of discussions on health problems and other gruesome stuff we also have a lot of fun..... some of it quite silly.
You will see these little guys:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: quite often so do come in and...

Welcome to the forum! I have a sister in Mississauga and love visiting the greater Toronto area and have occasionally dropped down to visit NF. You live in a beautiful area.

Hi there, StarSong! Wot a nice handle! L.A., eh? WOW! Would've loved to visit Southern California, n' Hollywood n' stuff, while I was still able to travel! Our youngest daughter was in your neck-o'-the-woods aboot twenny years ago, n' brung us back a bottle of sand from yer're beach! Hope it wasn't illegal for her to do that, eh? Anyways, if it is, it looks like she's gotten away with it by now! Have driven past n' sometimes through Mississauga menny, menny times, on me way to (n' thankfully back home from) the "Big Smoke" of Tronno! It's grown really lotsly since the last time I was there! Mississauga, I mean. Tronno too, acturely ... home of the Raptors, Blue Jays, Maple Leaves n' lowly Argonauts. Anyways, thanks again, eh? It's time to move on to me next welcome post. Be seeing ya!

Great introduction! I agree that complaining is a buzz kill (to use the young people phrase).

This forum has a couple of good threads about humor that make it fun. And few of the ladies do their very best to keep it lively. God bless em.
Hello OldFeller from a fellow old feller. I'm 71, going on 91! Thanks for the compliment in re: my introduction! I'm a late-blooming writer of sorts, n' the reason I spell some of me words a little wonkily, is cuz I can, n' I like to play aroond with 'em. If called upon to do so, I'm able to writ in perfect English, n' know all aboot punctuation n' stuff. Anyways, I've already met some of them ladies yer're talking aboot, n' I seem to be off to a pretty good start in ear! Cuz if there's one thing I ain't, it's shy. Thanks again, eh? Be seeing you around! :)

Hi Mizmo! Can't tell for sure, but it don't look like I've thanked you yet for yer're welcome post. If I have, then please disregard everything else I'm gonna write. But thanks for yer're welcome post, eh? Yeah, she's still a tad chilly oot there, but I hear there's some warmer weather coming our way! N' it's scheduled to last for a while! I could post aboot some gruesome stuff meself, but I prefer to keep it light n' fun. That's wot I'm looking for in ear. In case yer're wondering why me writing style goes a tad off the rails de temps en temps, it's cuz I also belong to another forum wot's based in the U.K. And they get a kick oot of the onny Canadian wot's there, trying to imitate their accent, whilst throwing in the occasional, "oot n' aboot" n' stuff. So anyways, thanks again (unless I thanked you already), n' I'll see you in the "funny papers"! :)

Welcome TJ! I'm in Beautiful B.C., DH also posts here now and then.
Hi there! Thanks for the welcome, eh? Not sure if I've already thanked you or not, cuz I'm chronologically challenged, n' seem to be hoppin' n' boppin' all over the place here! Getting a lotta welcomes from BC, n' every one of 'em says it's beautiful oot there! Don't doubt it for a minute, n' right now anyways, I'm jealous of you! Ontario's beautiful too! Except when we're having an Arctic Blast! Dunno who DH is. Yer'll have to elaborate, please. Meanwhile, I'll look forward to seeing you oot n' aboot in the forum, eh? :)

Great intro TJ ! I got a kitten...well she got me..Labor day weekend, after she hung out on my patio for 2 nights. Vet thinks she was just 5 weeks old at that time. Anyway, you will find lots of interesting, informative, fun and maybe even quirky posts here  but it's all good. Just be careful that you don't get addicted like I did. There are many wonderful, supportive people here (if you decide you do need to complain just a little :)) so I hope you enjoy SF as much as I do.

Hello! Sorry but, I'm all chronologically outta whack here! From where I'm sitting, I ain't sure if I answered yer're welcome post to me or not. Got some "quirky" folks on this ear forum, eh? Welp, to them I say, "Move over, cuz ear comes TJ"! I bin the quirky one on many a seniors' fori, for yonks n' yonks! Currently, I'm also on one based in the U.K. But it's much smaller than here. But big or schmall, I like em all! N' I love making new cyber-friends! Hope you'll be one of 'em! So, thanks again, n' I'll see you out there, eh?

Yes you did already..post #35 but so nice for we old dears to be noticed and don't worry aboot yer writing style I can throw in the odd wee Scottish wurd now and again mingled with the Canadian but I don't say eh!.. I only write it for fun Eh! :ROFLMAO:

No problem Tee Jay. I know from experience that it's very hard to keep track of posts sometime even in your own threads. Looking forward to more from you. 👀😃

Welcome TJ! I'm in Beautiful B.C., DH also posts here now and then.

Hi TJ... not everyone on British forums are complainers..lol.....you'll make plenty of friends here if you want them.

Sorry to hear you lost your wife after such a long time married, it must still be very raw for you...

christmas-london-HD.jpg
Hi hollydolly! Sorry for the late "thank you, eh?", but I'm running a tad behind cuz I ... cuz I ... now, what the heck excuse was I gonna use again? ... cuz I ... erm ... Neap! It's gone! Too bad, cuz I DO remember it was a GOOD'un! Ahem ... Ahem ... Just re-read yer're welcome post, n' yeap, I do know there're lotsa jolly good blokes n' blokettes one the British forums. The lickle one I was alluding to, is where I started using this wonky writing style. Some of the folks on there write their posts the same way they talk, n' I began trying to imitate them, while throwing into the mix, some "oot n' aboots" (from Canada), plus "yinz's" (from my wife's Pittsburghese). One of me reeeeally good pals on there is also from London! Mebbe yinz is HER, fer all I know!

I thank you sincerely for your condolences on the passing of my wife, best friend n' soulmate, Sue. And yes, I still cry every day. I'm gonna post her photo somewhere, after I figure out how. As per now, I don't have time for that, cuz I'm still pretty bizzy answering all my lovely "welcome aboards". But I bin on many a forum, n' it don't look to me like it's much different on ear. Soooo ... I thank yinz again for the loverly welcome, n' hope youse n' me get to be pals! See yinz oot there, eh? :)

Oh crikey, eh? Okay, so ya got two tank yee's! Being a Canadian since I was seven years-old, I DO say, "eh?" N' so do the vast majority of folks I know! Except for the recent immigrants (who I welcome with open arms) who don't even speak English yet! Righto then ... orf I go to the next one then. See ya, eh?
