I've always liked him. I hope he'll make a full recovery.
"Renner was helping a family member whose car had gotten stuck in snow on a private road when the incident occurred, according to Washoe County Sheriff Darin Balaam. Approximately 3 feet of snow had fallen the previous day in the area and the road was closed at the time due to the severe winter weather, he said."

Further information...The "snow plow " was actually a tracked vehicle that is commonly used to groom snow at downhill ski resorts. The actor got out of the cab of the 14,000 lbs machine, to help a family member whose car was stuck in a snow bank. He did not shut down the snow cat groomer when he got out of the cab, and the 14,000lbs machine's tracks rolled over him causing critical injuries. He remains in the ICU at a hospital. JimB,

Yes when they said snow plow I thought they meant one of those small tractor plows may have rolled over on him. It showed a picture of it on my news feed, the thing is an enormous piece of heavy equipment. Sheesh

Yes that snow cat weighs 7 TONS, and the tracks are 5 feet wide. It is no wonder he was so badly injured. JimB.

Yes, saw on news! Accidents happen...but..
Care should be taken..in all circumstances.

Hope he recovers with no further problems.

I see by the replies the word "plow" is being used. That's the way I spelled it in when I was composing this thread but the first article I read, spelled it plough. I decided to link the ABC article instead. I don't remember the source of the first article I read but based on the spelling, it must've been a British publication.

I saw a preview of Jeremy's interview with Diane Sawyer and what happened to his body and what he went through brought me to tears! The full interview is now airing on Hulu but I haven't watched it yet.

I watched it a couple of days ago. He is quite an incredible person. He is a very generous and caring man towards his community and all members of his family. He said that his strong mind and family support carried him through his ordeal. He made a wonderful recovery however, he admits that he still has quite a lot of pain in his jaws and body. I think the fact that he was relatively young, healthy and in great physical shape, must have helped a lot in his quick recovery.
