Piscean ( usually men) tend to have very addictive personalities to substances... female Piscean tend to be very emotional...
 

I'm a cancer so I tend to scrap around and pinch when provoked. My husband is a Taurus so he rears and charges. He'll eventually get tired of dancing around the crab claws or breathe enough hot breath to send the crab running back under the sand.
That's about normal around here.

I'm a double Leo, my sun sign and rising sign are the same. Being a fire sign, I probably shouldn't get along well with water signs, but my 2 best friends that I've had for 50 years are both Scorpio (water). Go figure.

My first husband was also a Leo (his birthday was the day after mine), and my second husband is an Aries, also a fire sign. Generally not recommended, but it's worked out okay.

Leo and Aries are recommended. My Leo friend has been with his Aries partner for 43 years now.
Leo-Leo doesn't usually work.
I'm Sagittarius and I get along great with Leo and Aries.
 
Astrology is based on sun signs and rising signs.
I am a Cancer, Moon Child, and extremely intuitive and emotional ( from the moon) and protective. I have Taurus rising, which seems to balance me out. Taurus is an earth sign, very grounded. I need this to think calmly through situations before I react to them.

I am also Sun in Cancer (4 planets in Cancer) with Taurus rising. I hate the name of our sign because I have had cancer twice, so when I say it, our sign's name, I get nervous.

I dislike our name, too, which is why I refer to it as Moon Child. It sounds much better in this day and age.

Leo... Sagittarius.. and another Aries, are supposed to be the most compatible signs for each other. Every leo I've known has been a compulsive liar.. and or an Egoist... ..

The love of my life was a Saggi.. but he was a skirt chaser... so I walked away from that one..:D

Cusps, in popular understanding, are the days bordering the sun's transition into a new sign. For example, those born between February 16 and 21 may consider themselves on the Aquarius-Pisces cusp, like my mom. Or if you were born between June 18 and June 24, you'd be on the Gemini-Cancer cusp.

...but it begins on April 20th..our birthday is the 17th
 
There are only 12 zodiac signs, with several sides to each personality, and the rising signs, ascending signs, and moon alignments all must be counted, degrees to the chart. It only touches on the overall traits that may be compatible.

To call one month's sign compulsive liars, egoists, skirt chasers, and other negative adjectives is to judge without knowing the individual and all aspects of a person's personality. It speaks volumes , showing less than likable attributes.

We are all different. Watching and reading daily threads is telling a lot about a person. I would never presume to know about folks just because of their birth date.
