I just had a memory that I hadn't thought of in decades. No idea why now! Must have been... wow... 1977-78 when I had my first apartment. Phone rang and it was a wrong number. Airline pilot on a couple days of layover trying to find a Greek restaurant. I said it was a wrong number and we talked for six hours. HOURS! I have no idea why it wasn't "oh, sorry" "no problem, bye" ... or what we talked about. Weird. These days I absolutely HATE phone calls, ironically. What's your record for a phone call?

I never was a fan of phone conversations, even back in high school. I could easily sit and talk to a girl I was dating back then for six hours face to face but for some reason I never liked the phone calls My guess is my record would be around 30 minutes.

Seems like you must have had some kind of connection, any follow up with him?
