Food Bill for 2022

Wow deb, you kept all receipts? That's actually a good idea. I spend too much on food because I will buy chips and things I don't need. I'd be curious what I spend myself. Might start keeping them. If I dare.

I just added up all the receipts from the grocery stores - $2938.29. That's up about $700 from last year - for 1 person. Attributed it to higher food costs.

That is an interesting thing to do. Wish I had thought of it in this time of inflation. I’m assuming it’s just food and doesn‘t include paper products or any of the other non-food items we buy at grocery stores.

It's a sobering thought... I daren't look to see how much I've spent in the last year. Our food prices have rocketed.. in many instance over 100%

Reading that it looks like you spent $2938.29 for the 1st. 17 days of Jan. 2023.

Did you mean the receipts from 2022 compared to the receipts from 2021.
