Seniors that are Preppers?

the trouble with pills is that you can die a very painful death.. for example.. a load of paracetamol with explode your liver long before you die..
I've heard the same thing. Also, it's gotten harder than all-get-out to even get a prescription for anything that'd do the job. And for those who've been holding onto that kind of medicine for years, that stuff loses its effectiveness the longer it's stored.

@Trish ..I keep my domestic batteries in this handy case..

...I use a lot , because recently due to the high price of energy.. I'm using the magnetic motion sensor lights all the way up my stairs.. ( they can also be charged using USB).. the batteries last for ages, and means I fon't have to use the foyer, or upstairs lights.... I've even got sensor lights in the Kithcen , toilet , and the other bedrooms, so if I'm just popping in for a minute I don't need to put the lights on and off ..so the need was great for a Battery storage Case..
Oh that looks very organised. Yes, we have sensor lights in the kitchen, bathroom and hallway, they are brilliant. (y)

if I knew the Easy way out.. I would too... but I don't know of an easy way other than with a Bullet...
A bullet is not guaranteed. A less dramatic method is what they call a suicide bag filled with helium or nitrogen. You just go to sleep without the panic feeling of any suffocation. Plenty of talk about this on the internet.

Personally I want to face my natural demise without any assistance. But never say never!

Not a prepper, can't afford to be. Where I used to live, we were supposed to be prepared for emergency evacuation. This included taking 3 days' worth of water, plus other stuff. I have leg problems, and I didn't have a car at the time.

Yeah, I'm not going to be walking down the road with several liters of water during an earthquake.

Yeah, I guess I'm a serious prepper. I keep multiple cases of dehydrated food on hand, at least two 50 gallon barrels of fresh water that I rotate. I've got to say, the food came in handy as I just opened a can of powdered eggs. (enough to duplicate 100 eggs). Now, momma can make all the food that calls for an egg.

Not sure I'd call it civilization. (awful lot of frustrated folks around here). I have however been making clandestine trips back to my property in the Ozarks. Might not have a house there, but, I've got my other motor home hooked up to electric, water, and sewer, and still have the like minded neighbors there to look out for one another, so It's still good to go. Part of my supplies are here and some still up there.

I remember buying Auguson farms scrambled egg mix. The whole egg mix was NASTY!! But the scrambled mix was eggcellent.

But really no room for storage, so not too concerned about surviving the apocalypse.
