Lulu and Her Van

sadly lots of people now living this same way due to circumstances beyond their control. All very well until their car breaks down and they can't afford to move it.. and or they get sick!!
Ive followed a few Van Dwellers on YT , and they mostly all start out with a Small Van but after a year or two they move up a size , for standing up in .So many advances over the years , like solar panels ,, I remember having small portable TV running it off a generator..I wouldnt know where to start now with all the new gadgets on the Market ..
The bigger the Van though puts restrictions on where you can park ,and where safe parking is ,signs go up saying No over night stopping .Not plain sailing ..

Lulu is a real trip. I just love hearing about the accommodations that she has made to that van. I've done quite a bit of camping and clamping beginning in a tent and moving up but that lady is having more fun than anybody. Long may she live and enjoy her life. 
A few decades ago we met an older woman in a Forest Service campground. She was the hostess. She was in her 70s and alone. Her husband had passed a few years before but she wasn't going to give up her summers in the mountains and she just kept coming every summer from Kansas to her assigned campground and watched over folks all summer.

Yes, Myrtle, I follow many RVers with all different types of rigs, I found this lady to be especially ingenious at building her rig and as she states she has a home base as do many. I don't think I've ever had what it would take to do something like this, I'd at the least have to be able to stand up....but I find it interesting.Lulu is a real trip. I really enjoyed this. I could never do it but it was so much fun seeing how she fixed things up to suit her.
