So, shopping again for buttermilk. This time Safeway, this time. Can't find it. So I ask a employee, he points to it.

(Sigh) it drives me crazy that I'm wearing glasses, going slow, but try as I might, totally missed it.

Then later realize I forgot the chili, so another trip. Grrrrrrrr

and the store switches everything around....
I've had them do that and that pissed me off to no end, my shopping list was predicated on the aisles as they were a week ago. (This was 2005, I had to shop, mom couldn't) they'd almost flipped 12 rows in just 5 days. Impressive, but still aggravating.

Apparently where goods go in a grocery store is very important. I don't think my local grocery is in business to sell food, but makes money by moving goods around in the store. Aisle #19 is the soda/water aisle. Soda was on the right, water on the left. They closed the aisle down and all day long they switched to soda on the left and water on the right. Well, of course, that made so much more sense. (?) BTW, I just came home from grocery shopping-aisle #19 was roped off, again.

I noticed my Walmart has an app you can download on your phone to find things in that particular store...there was a big sign with instructions just as you go in.....I need to take he time to stop and do this as they are forever moving things around.
