I’m curious as to what gender your creator, if you believe in one, might be and what makes you so sure?

The idea that a "spiritual" being has *******ia is absurd! I have always felt amused that religions ascribe human characteristics (such as creation of another human being, love and nurture) that are those of mothers to a male deity.

Then maybe you should start a thread about things your grannie used to say.
I didn't ask anything about your grannie nor what you think of my choices. If
you choose to keep attacking me personally after I've asked that you not to
I'll have no choice but to consider it harassment and deal with it as such.

No whine for me thanks. But maybe a bit of cheese with yours would stifle
that bile.

God created man in his image...Adam. God didn't want man to be alone, so he took a rib from Adam & created woman...Eve.

IMHO, God is a man, who then decided that Adam needed a wife...just like He has. Now God's wife was not named or talked about, but I believe we can call Her, Mother Nature.

Just my thoughts after listening to others over the years & thinking about it. God may have wanted man to be a little more like Him than only in His image & have a few of the same experiences.

Do I have proof? No. And no one may ever be able to answer this question until we pass from this life & on to the next, even then. Maybe things were left vague or incomplete to allow people to find the way on their own. To find their own belief & faith in God.
 
For much of history man has been the dominate gender, so as civilization needed direction or leadership a male presence fit nicely into that narrative.

I predict in the future women will take over most leadership positions. As that happens history will be rewritten, ancient writings will be discovered, scriptures will be reinterpreted and a thousand years from now woman will be God.

You'll see.
