Well, it means bad things don't last either. That's a positive! This is a fact. Everything is only temporary. How do you deal with it?
Living alone is hard, especially when you get ill. Having a pet helps, perhaps a little dog, or a cat if you find walking is a problem. They are such good company.I know I have had a good life, lucky to not have to worry (yet) about retirement. I do live alone now so I often feel anxious and afraid. Yes, there is no reason but it is always right there under my skin, sometimes to the point of unbearable. Yes, I have seen the doctor, I have Xanex but I do not take it unless I can't calm myself.
Acceptance comes with maturity. This is a fact. Everything is only temporary. How do you deal with it?
The individuals may vary but the species is permanent.Glad our politicians aren't permanent!

That's true. I'm learning that now. Just gotta trust God and live your life. Can't worry too much about what you can't control. This is a fact. Everything is only temporary. How do you deal with it?
Yup, everything changes. Countries change, cultures change, neighborhoods change, people change, technology changes. Look at how things are today compared to how they were 50 or 100 years ago. People are born and people die. Enough change to almost seem like another planet! What is the current Pharaoh's' name? Or who is our current Emperor in Rome? Even the land we live on has been bouncing around all over the planet. Oceans come and go. And in a little more than a 100 years, nobody alive today will be alive then. Kind of proves the point.
Too true. My first bil lost his father, mother and brother to lung cancer. None made it past 58 and his brother died at 46. He's quit smoking long ago, but it's hereditary so he's just living good as he can. Many have not lived long enough to complain about getting old. Live for today.
