Coronation of Charles soon

In May will be a great occasion, lots of pomp and ceremony.

I do however feel sadness.
I loved our wonderful Queen who lived an exemplary life of duty. In contrast I just cannot help but remember the behaviour of Charles and Camilla towards Diana. It should be Diana beside Charles, she was so beautiful and really loved him, given time they could have grown together. I wish Camilla had not interfered.
I suppose we must forget past troubles because things always move on.

The Brits know how to put on a great show. I think most forget the "royals' are pretty normal human beings, who happen to lead extraordinary lives. And like all normal humans, they are flawed in some way. Nobody is perfect. That does not detract from them becoming the center of a grand occasion.

As only an observer I think Prince Charles will have a very difficult time filling the Queens boots. The Queen seemed to be a great natural leader and was well respected worldwide. I hope Charles can step up, he does have a lot of baggage to carry, if you know what I mean.
