Do You Have Firefox Browser on a Windows 11 Computer?

My HP desktop died on me last week, and I replaced it with a Dell that came with Microsoft Edge. I really liked Firefox on my two windows 10 computers.

I don't like the way pages are arranged on the new computer, don't know if this is Microsoft Edge or Windows 11. Not sure if installing Firefox will change any of that and make the pages, etc. more familiar. I don't know much about computers, so I don't like much change, but I force myself to accept anything I can't easily change.

I also don't care for the Bing search I'm getting, would rather stick with Google and I think that's easy enough to change in the settings. Right now I'm not messing with too much.

Is anyone here using Firefox with their Windows 11 computer? Any issues with that? When I decide to do it, it will also likely make it easier to import my favorites/bookmarks onto the new computer from my laptop by using Sync, which some here have already recommended. Thanks for your thoughts.

HI, @SeaBreeze :)
My computer failed totally this winter, too, and I recently got a new one. It's an HP, with Windows 11 and Microsoft Edge.
I opted for 11, due to learning that Windows 10 will become unsupported, in 2 years.
I don't use Firefox myself but am a bit familiar with it.
Only enough to know what it is, and that it's quite different!

I too, am having difficulties with the new parts, moreso than back when I switched to Windows 10, from an older version.
I too, do not know how much of my difficulties are from Edge or Windows 11 version..... or changes that HP has made.:rolleyes::eek:o_O
I've never had a Dell, myself.

I do not know the answers to your questions.... but will follow this thread, and hope that both you and I, will learn something useful from somebody!;):giggle::geek:

Thanks Kaila, I'm leaning toward firefox again, just wanted to know if it works okay with windows 11, guess there's really no reason it shouldn't.

I also wondered if there are any drawbacks to Sync process from old laptop to new desktop.

I use Firefox with Windows 11 on my PC. I don't find it any different from using it with Windows 10. I have a few issues with Firefox that existed when I used it with Windows 10 so about once per year, I need to "refresh" Firefox, which helps speed it up without deleting my add-ons. I stick with Firefox because I'm told they are less prone to tracking and sharing information about me. I don't know if that's a fact though.
