McCain is running for senate AGAIN!

He has certainly changed... and now we know why... he knew he was going to run again and needed the crazy vote to get him back in.

How old is he now? The oldest person in the world just died - Did McCain take her place for the title? Just wondered.

I think he is better and more honest than our White House occupant is. My opinion, just like others post their opinions.

But I do think we also need years limits on our Congress folks.

That's not the McCain of old. He wasn't like this.. He was an honorable man.. and I can remember when he was a voice of reason.. He has done a complete 180.. and I think only to appease the TeaParty, who he will depend on to get re-elected.

Funny... that's not what McCain said..

He's a decent family man [and] citizen that I just happen to have disagreements with on fundamental issues and that's what this campaign's all about.

Unfortunately that copy was from 2008. So it is 6 years old and hardly reliable for the current times. What is McCain's opinion now after these years of socialism from Obama.

And did you ever know about this back in Obama's early victory days? And you pick on me for some of my comments.

With Obama as president, health care and the economy can be "reformed," U.S. troops can be evacuated from the Middle East, a second stimulus bill can be passed, the criminal justice system can be overhauled and union rights can be expanded – in other words, it's a Christmas list come true – declared the leader of the Communist Party USA.

"All these – and many other things – are within our reach now!" exclaimed Sam Webb in a New York banquet speech for the People's Weekly World, the official newspaper of the Communist Party USA.

I guess you can afford to live without your SS and Medicare. I cannot. Karma is a bitch Bob. You better hope a Democrat wins the white house or you'll have a one party dictatorship the likes of which you've never seen. No checks and balance, free reign.

Just your opinions Jim. There is no fear about no SS at all. That was all discussed and dropped many years ago. No reason for it to be brought up again. But Medicare can be a problem the way it is set up now. There have been some changes already and more were discussed a couple years back. To me, Medicare does need some fixing as it has had some rather expensive restrictions added recently. I just got caught in one of those lately. Many drugs have proper names and others are generic copies. I recently paid $113 for a months supply and got pretty ticked off. Today I finally got that understood. So from now on I get a generic for only about $35 per months supply. Still too much for my likes but much less that last purchase. It seems that if a doctor suggests a certain fix, then any approved alternative generics should be allowed instead. But apparently the pharmacist are restricted to what is written. It seems to me that is something that could be cleared. But for now I am out about $200 more than I should be. I am going to try to change in my unopened package for the new one and see if I can get a credit on this last purchase. As correct and right as some of our government folks think they are, there are far too many restrictions and possibilities for them to really be able to control.

I would think providing prescriptions of name brands could have generics supplemented freely unless the brand name is posted as 'ONLY'.

But we will be free of some very nasty habits this current government has got into. We do not need all this debt for nothing showing. It will be good to have a new government no matter which party takes control. I don't think Hillary will push too much debt and will try to get our budgets back in line once again. I am not anti this or that party at all. But I am against our government now being in such bad debt that we might have to start borrowing from those European governments in order to pay the bills. The US has been badly screwed these recent years.

Just like several years of Democrat total control. For example, Obama's first two years. And also Carter, Kennedy & Johnson, FDR.

Hate to admit this but I crossed over in the primary to vote for McCain in order to defeat Bush. Gore was uncontested. Now I can't stand McCain.
As QuickSilver said, he's become a hypocrite. The media fell in love with McCain back then. Not so much now.
