I have a very slim bifold for cards/ID
It goes in my front pocket along with my money clip.....and my hand (zero dip access)
The other front pocket holds my keys
Are your keys on the left or right? I always keep my keys in front right pocket, small wallet in front left. Have always, for decades, do the same thing. If my keys were in my right pocket, I'd get confused! I know cause I tried! :ROFLMAO:

Mine is the old fashion guy's leather folding wallet. I don't have a purse. For a woman, a purse is an overnight bag, temporary beaty salon, a tool kit, data bank, emergency food storage unit, picture album, memento storage, change machine & coupon depository. Then she fills it up with stuff she needs.
Word to the wise. No guy should ever go purse shopping with his mate. Finding the "right" purse is like finding Big Foot- it doesn't exist.

I use a wallet similar to Wrens. I too like just minimal slots for cards etc,
and an area for my checkbook.

I never though just use my wallet solo when out, always have it inside
of my larger purse. If I only used the wallet, it would get lost...

The other zippered compartment has pockets and a zippered change compartment. I don't use the wrist strap.

I think in the USA the word purse is used where we say bag (handbag or shoulder bag) so my purse is always inside my shoulder bag along with most of the items fuzzybuzzy mentioned !! 🤣

I like the products made by Pacsafe (anti theft, travel products) available at Amazon. They are well designed (compact, lightweight, offer a lot of compartments). They have wallets, crossbody bags, sling pack, purses. They are well made and last forever.

Was working in VN and took a few days off in 74' and went to Bangkok for a little R&R.

Got out of the honky tonks long enough a few times to do some sight seeing and needing a new wallet I purchased a couple of the ones pictured below out of a little shop.

Fast forward to about 79' and I was working in Libya and one of the fellas I worked with was going to Bangkok for a few days and I ask him to purchase eight more of the same wallet I had for me and he did.

Of the eight I've still got two brand new ones in the dresser drawer.

A very small cross-body purse just big enough for essentials I need to carry. I never have to worry about dropping it and have both hands free.
I've always liked the convenience of cross-body bags, but couldn't get used to the feeling of the strap. Now I carry a huge, well big, Harlequin bag that is not at all convenient, but I love it anyway.
