From the tiny eye, and unique beak, to the amazing detailed feathers, the bird knees, toes, and down to the lichen on the rock!

Inspiring patience, displayed as well.

Not just yours, in getting that wonderful shot,

But also on the part of the Curlew, who is patient enough, to sit and gaze, and live in the moment,
untill the tide comes back in.
A metaphor for we restless and rushed humans, perhaps?

Curlew creek flowed just behind the house I grew up in, Florida. We had lots of curlews. Probably a different species but looked just like that one.
