What fascinates you?

The way that a resident 'Itsy Bitsy' spider weaves a web right across my back door, and when I walk out, my whole face is totally covered with it's handywork, however, I remove this little blighter's fly catcher netting totally, only for this daft old fella to walk into a new web the following day. 😊

Speaking of spiders, they fascinate me. Over the years I've seen several times where a momma spider would go to her web that had been torn down to save her egg sack. She'd pick it up & carry it off with her under her legs. From that first time, I had a newfound respect for them & won't hurt them. Even in the house. If only some people had that instinct towards their own offspring.

How pictures & sound can be delivered by a wire to my home. Then go from that wire into a box then into another box to be able to send those pictures & sound thru the air to my television.

Another fascination is how I can sit here typing, when finished tap post reply & seconds later someone half way around the planet can read what I type.

Don't want to take up too much of your space on this thread, but

the ALIVENESS of everything, enlightenment, the power of thought, reverence and devotion, the supreme culture and qualities
of the heart, of the soul, knowledge, HAPPINESS, BLISS, art, especially pre-Raphaelite art, forms, shapes, space, sculpting, the Gita,
scents in the air, transcending, creativity, perception, PHILOSOPHY, LITERATURE, poetry, physics, colors, hues, shades, intelligence
in humankind, expressions, the timber of a man's voice, states of consciousness, pure silence of the mind, awareness, gratitude,
music, sounds, the paranormal, remote viewing, joyousness, space and the cosmos, infinity, eternity, stillness, the Absolute, LIFE!

Right now to me, the expansion of consciousness and growth of the soul, power of thought, FEELING LOVE, FEELING HAPPINESS,
learning as much as I can, and expressing creativity through art and design, communication with heavenly entities, going within
to experience this blissfulness, expressing through poetry and writings are what is most important to me. I lose all time when I sculpt
paint, meditate or write. I completely immerse myself in life. never want the moment to end. SPEECHLESS AMAZEMENT!
Many, many things can be experienced in one's solitude. It's a dawn-fresh, life filled dimension. LOVE.

I would have a long list, but one that comes to mind right now is the human body, exterior shapes, colors, textures, etc.

Not meant in an erotic way necessarily but I have always enjoyed looking at people. It's not judgmental I just like looking at the variety.

I look more at women, but not exclusively. And I like looking at all ages and sizes, no preference its the diversity that interests me.

People fascinate me... not necessarily in a good way, but they're interesting to watch and try to figure out what makes them tick... how some people can be so irrational but still function and even thrive in society. That says a lot about society.

Social psychology is a fascinating field of study.

This. Maybe because so many if us old coots lived much of our lives before the web

I've always been fascinated by the skills of the old wood carvers, stone masons, etc etc....I think it is amazing what the older
generations were able to do in their building skills....also a little
fascinated and perturbed at the so call archeologists that dig
up tombs, and yet decry those who dug them up first....

I had a spider-buddy who did the same thing. I didn't necessarily want her to move away altogether, so here's what I did - I glued a twig across the corner of the door frame hoping it would serve a double-purpose; a webbing anchor point and boundary line, you know what I mean? Like, that upper-left corner was hers, the twig was our property line.

It worked! She lived and died on her side of the twig; up high enough to keep her webs out of my face, but still plenty of room for her meals.
