I have no idea whether this news channel is reputable but it came up in my Youtube queue and I thought the comments were interesting.

I also agree that KC is a weak man.
I follow Dan Wootton segments on Youtube regularly. I have a slight "crush" on Tom Bower since I read his book "Revenge: Meghan, Harry, and the War Between the Windsors". I follow all his interviews!

There is no mis-spelling. The word Concede is used correctly.

Conceit is a mass noun that means to be overly proud of one’s self and accomplishments.

To Concede something is to give in or stop protesting it.

Yep, English language is a difficult language to understand!!

Prince Andrew 'is so stupid, so conceded, so arrogant' he will never learn to 'shut up' | Tom Bower

Prince Andrew did not concede anything. He was being described as stupid, conceited and arrogant.

I have to disagree Jules because of the context in which it is used. It is a string of adjectives obviously meant to describe his negative traits. Concede being a verb does not fit there.

I repeat:
Conceited ..... wrong!
Conceded ..... correct!

Prince Andrew 'is so stupid, so conceded, so arrogant' he will never learn to 'shut up' | Tom Bower.

Concede or conceded means to admit or agree that something is true after first denying or resisting it.

How has Andrew done that? What has he now admitted to after first denying? What has he conceded?

conceded [ kuhn-see-did ]

adjective
  1. allowed or admitted as true, proper, just, etc.: A professional liar, when cornered, will strategically acknowledge a point without giving up the debate; those conceded points should form the basis of your response.
  2. acknowledged without or before being officially confirmed: That argument did not set a legal precedent, because it was a conceded point and not a legally established one. In golf, a conceded putt is one your opponent gives you, without you completing the shot.
  3. granted or yielded in a negotiation: Later that year, the oil company returned with security guards to install its equipment on the conceded territory.
verb
  1. the simple past tense and past participle of concede.

We are speaking of the word "conceded" ...
It is used in the correct context in this case.
End of story!

Pink Biz.... why are you putting these angry emojis under my posts???
Are you disagreeing with the tenets of the English language?
If you are, then you may want to revisit some English classes!
Or is it that you are just plain bored ?? :ROFLMAO:

FYI ...Tom Bower is a former BBC reporter....he knows how to spell and how to use the English Language.

That’s exactly what I was saying, OED.
(For some reason when I quoted Jamala the first time, it did not show it as being quoted.)

Concede or conceded means to admit or agree that something is true after first denying or resisting it.
What did Prince Andrew concede?

I’m sure he does. That doesn’t mean the person that wrote the banner did.
