Sandals

When you hit middle age and you are too lazy to do-up and undo laces on your shoes.

I'm going to treat myself and buy a nice pair of sandals. Any suggestions on which ones I should purchase? What is the best bang for my buck?

i only wear slip on moccasins' shoes in the summer and leather flip flops in the house and garden

I like slip-ons as well. My preference for summer is a huarache over a sandal. Something like these:

Huaraches

They have the benefits of sandals of being cool and can be worn without socks. They are more dressy than sandals but will go with both long pants as well as shorts.

I love the walking sandals with the "bump" toe. The were invented by the KEEN shoes folks but now knock offs are everywhere. Trouble with KEEN is there is no Velcro opening at the heel. Its a must have for me. KEENs are over $100.00! The ones pictured are $35.00. Amazon.

Toe stubber here also.
Got ā€˜em and love them. Mine are a turquoise green and grey. They are horrible for walking on a gravel or pebbly beach though.
