What Device Do You Use to Access This Website?

I'm on my PC right now. I have a laptop out in the enclosed patio, but I kind of like the big monitor on the PC. Actually, it has two monitors, so I can multitask if I want to. (By multitask I mean look at SFs on one monitor and watch YouTube videos on the other. :ROFLMAO: )

Mostly, my laptop. But, like now, I am on my tablet for a short time. Late at night it's a quick check of email and forum posts before lights out.

2020 Dell XPS 15 9550 (15.6 inch display) with Microsoft Windows 10 also driving an external Dell 24 inch UHD 4k monitor set on a fancy multi level mobile workstation cart I can roll around in my living room. Also on same home wifi network, have an old HP desktop, Motorola G6 Android smartphone, Android tablet, Chromebook. Waiting years now for 8k UHD PC monitor displays to arrive whence will buy a powerful workstation with a DisplayPort 2.1 video card to drive several for image exhibitions and a newer laptop to drive at least one 8k.

... the only thing that helps my poor eyesight.

Talking about devices and apps, daughter and I are facing dying tablets. High battery usage, sign that it's getting long in the tooth. With July coming thinking of replacing. Thanks to CEX store for second hand, it'll be great to get newer devices that have more memory both RAM and ROM. Found two, brand name "Blackview" according to reviews better than iPad. Don't know never owned any MAC stuff.

Planning to change emails both my regular one and indie author ones. That'll keep us busy updating all associated with that. Ooh the migraines lol.

Finally, transferring two old tablets onto new one will be a bit of challenge but hoping to be able to transfer all to SD Card will make it easier.

Last items, apparently put in wrong username when I'd signed on for a website about reaching neighbours. Lasted about 6 months without any knowledge. Suddenly, when I decided to go back to delete my account and cleared notifications, found account locked and me kicked out for using wrong username. I didn't know and reading instructions didn't specify. Oh well, it was a boring site anyway LOL!

So, I may disappear from our excellent forum here, once I get the wheels turning, so to speak.

My PC.

I bought myself a laptop about a dozen years ago, but I didn't use it much so I gave it to my grandson. And I don't like using my phone to go online. It's small and my fingers aren't, plus my vision isn't very acute.

I totally enjoy sitting at my desk with my morning tea and smokes, perusing the internet.
I just ran the numbers...I've been doing exactly that for 17 years. ..gah!

You've to realise that for me and plenty others, the internet arrived circa November 1994. So, nearly 30 years next year. Wow time flies when you're having fun... LOL!

Netscape was the best browser back in the days. The dreadful, all nighter to download one simple wee game, just to find out in the morning after falling asleep at your desk, that the internet cut off and your short of half your file. Argh!

That dialup sound was a funky tune. The filing cabinet icon and others on the screen's menu. The multiple versions of PCs we went through. Microsoft versions galore.

Digital evolution! Who's the creator of all that? Steve Jobs at Apple MAC or Bill Gates for MS. Regardless, it's been a crazy adventure. Always said that since the 80s advancement has been by leaps and bounds.

Question: Were the aliens advanced technologies the culprit?

Answer: who knows and who cares, correct?
