He is one of the few of the last of the greats left...He is in the category of Andy Williams whom I always enjoyed and admired.

I really admire the work he did, recently, recording duets with a lot of different artists. He seems like a really warm guy.

He used to play regularly at Ravinia north of Chicago. Wife and bought tickets probably 3 times. They sold out fast so you had to buy early. Every single time something would happen and we were never able to go.

That's terrible Oldlongwalker! I'd hate to miss a concert once let alone three times. Well these days, every thing is on YouTube. Maybe you can find a concert or excerpts from one (or some) there. Bella, that's a show I would love to of seen, but I can access some of their music on YouTube, like this.....I saw Tony Bennett live in concert with k.d. Lang.
One of the best, Deb, certainly one of the best.

While in Chicago many years ago Frank Sinatra was in town for 1 night only. Couldn't make that one either. That was an even bigger bummer than missing Bennett.
