Illness and conditions suffered by well known Musicians

You may or may not know some of these if not all.. but it's interesting to see how some well known Musicians have to cope with on a daily basis while making entertainment for us to enjoy...

Tragically Hip - singer with brain cancer who did a last world tour just before he died.
He was one of the few lead singers who insisted ALL members of the band get equal pay. He refused to take a bigger cut than the rest. Such integrity and well respected musician.
 
Tionne "T-Boz" Walker of the hit girl group TLC has suffered with sickle cell anemia. She's been in and out of the hospital due to her painful condition since childhood. In 2002 she had to be hospitalized for four months. And Tammy Terrell, Motown artist known for her duets with Marvin Gaye, died from a brain aneurysm.

yes I remember tammy's death it was a shock ...

I did not know, thanks @hollydolly . First thing that comes to mind is they have the same kinds of ailments many of my family and friends do. Kind of normal, except for that "drug or sex" thing @David777 mentioned. Not that others don't have those problems too, just not quite as often.

good lord Pink will be happy you think she's in her 70's or 80's..as will several more of them includng Will-I-AM..and Cyndi Lauper..

Why? My DIL had fibromyalgia and so did her twin (both now deceased). Two of my grandsons have it. The youngest one who was about 14 or 15 at the time it was severe enough to put him in the hospital a few times in one year, suffered terribly. He was in pain from literally head to foot. They did all types of tests during one of his hospital stays. The medical staff was impressed at how he was dealing with his pain. He missed a lot of school that year.
