What's for dinner ( or lunch )

Tonight I had the last of the beer battered cod fillets, with peas and Potato salad..

I'm trying to eat out of my freezers as much as possible to use most foods up to replenish, and I've been very good about doing it for the last 2 weeks.. about 1/2 way though now. However I still have bulky things like loaves of bread, ice cream and bulk packs of items like Duck spring rolls... or sausages and bacon.... so I clearly won't be able to use them all before going shopping again, which I will have to do tomorrow or the day after because I'm close to running out of milk.

No-one I know ever believes I run out of milk because I buy it in large bulk.. and this is probably the closest I've got to actually running out in years.. Just 2 litres left.. ( 4 pints)..

Breakfast Sandwich for Lunch

You know when you were younger, some words came out of your mouth backwards, garbled and messed up. Because of that you either got complimented, shouted at or sent to your room until you learned them words properly.

Yup some of us had a tough time growing up...

Regardless, some of our earliest messed up words come back to the fore and you name a dish in its honour 🤣🤣🤣. That was dinner tonight. Cabbage leftover were all diced up, out in a bag and into the freezer for more soups later on.

Here's the gloriously messed up "Garbage Soup"

1/4 piece of white cabbage diced up in small pieces
4 handfuls (about 1/4 cup frozen or canned corn niblets)
Or 2 medium carrots if no corns around...
1 can chopped tomatoes
Using empty can above, fill up with tomato juice
1 small onion diced
2 chicken bouillon cubes
1 pork bouillon cube
Water to top
1 teaspoon of olive oil
Pasta to your taste cut in small pieces

Boil for 15 minutes to get your cabbage pieces are tender. Afterwards, add your pasta, cook about 5 minutes. Serve (about 4 people). Guaranteed you can't eat more than one bowl, it's filling but you'll drop a few pounds.

Cabbages are a complex fibrous vegetable that'll make your system work overtime to digest. Hence so many recommending various composition of the infamous "Cabbage Soup"

Yummy!

I eat a lot during the day and at night top it off with a fairly large meal.
Aiming for around 2500 calories per day, with around 210 grams of Protein and
high carbs.
No filler sugar treats, I just grab a hand full of nuts (unsalted) when I feel empty.

Tonight, it's a bowl of Rice with beef in a Teriyaki sauce.
Sliced Avocado dipped into soy sauce.
Side salad with lots of croutons and nuts.
Adding a Biscuit w/ butter.
Protein Powder shake for dessert.

This is for weight gain and resorting some muscle mass due to my rapid weight loss.
(From 185 lbs. to 135 lbs. in 6 months without a change of intake of calories or diet)
And yes, I have had numerous tests and continue to have them. So far, every test was negative or normal.

I'm becoming a regular with all the testing.

Getting back to town today coming down the highway, I said Lorie, why don't we stop at Chucks Roadhouse, and have a Rib Eye Steak... They have the best steaks I've ever had in a restaurant it comes with fries and a cob of corn... They also have the best carrot cake, but I have to get off the gluten. We usually share a piece...
