What's for dinner ( or lunch )

Tonight was a little bit eclectic... I was going to have Baked ham , potato fritters, and brussl sprouts.. but I realised I needed to use up some Calamari...so I had the fritters, and Brussels with the Tempura coated Calamari rings
I've never had Calamari... is it comparable to another seafood I'd recognize?
 

At lunchtime I peeled a lot of spuds, chipped them and deep fried them. The idea was to make a few chip sandwiches, but I made far too many chips...... I was still eating them at 8pm tonight.... I'm starting to look like a chip. 😊
