I'm having cataract surgery today. Any tips on recovery? Just a bit nervous.
You won't feel any pain and can look forward to everything looking so much brighter.I'm having cataract surgery today. Any tips on recovery? Just a bit nervous.
Use as directed!!! Prolonged use can overload the eye and cause other problems later.Only tip I can offer is keep the drops going until the bottles are empty,
I had the same thing happen with my first cataract surgery. I was aware during the surgery and started crying so they had to stop it and finish it with lasers later. During my second cataract surgery, they put me under general anesthesia and that went much better. If you happen to have too much pain or a scratched eye after the surgery, they have a special contact lens that they can put on it while it heals and it takes the pain away.My doctor didn't have me far enough under so I could feel enough that I had night mares for a year after that. I am in need of the second eye surgery and have a new doctor.
My husband developed some type of common issue years after he had his done, it was a simple fix that was just using a laser to clean off the new lens. Have your eyes checked at least yearly to stay on top of things.
Be sure to follow the doctor's orders and your recovery will be fine.
I agree with this.Use as directed!!! Prolonged use can overload the eye and cause other problems later.
