Pet Caracal - Some House Cat. Really Big!

That animal is gorgeous but it is not a domesticated cat IMO. And look at those teeth. Even an accidental attention bite like I got from my tabby years ago which landed me in prompt care on antibiotics was bad enough. Imagine the damage those teeth would do.

Domesticated cats don't hiss like that. My girls never fight over food and they eat together. That have scuffled over sleeping areas and there was some kind of hiss disagreement last night I heard but didn't see. These happen from time to time.

I have one cat who will gurgle when he eats asparagus. He doesn't want to share.

Years ago we had a friend that had a female Cougar that was as sweet as she could be. He got her from a family who had two little girls, but one developed cat allergies so they had to find her another home. She loved everyone & really loved to play & thought she was house cat size. It was like having a GSD sitting in your lap.

Kitty loves mommy until one day he bites her face off. Even a family pet can be unpredictable. A neighbor's dog that they had for years suddenly bit their daughter in the face. I never fully trust any animal.
Not so much a dog person but I trust my cats. My grumpy long hair tortie Daphne slammed me a couple of times but she always gave a verbal warning when I didn't put her down fast enough or tried to give her a kiss before I did. I'd pick her up for a short time on occasion. But she couldn't take the side of my head off with one paw swipe. So I was good.
