For most people, the download speed is the more important one. Have you priced Starlink? I don't know how much it would cost but it might be a good alternative to your cell provider.I have data on my smartphone. I'm in an isolated place in Canada, with only one cell phone provider. My data plan is the best available. Results from 2 different tests averaged out to

Around the 25th of the month, I'll have used up all my "high speed" gigabytes, and will be stuck with really slow speed, which still kind of works.
Better than a kick in the head, I guess.
Thank you. I have priced Starlink and other Wi-Fi possibilities. There are setup charges (high in the case of Starlink), and the monthly costs are high. Also, I live in an apartment, and satellite dishes are not allowed. For most people, the download speed is the more important one. Have you priced Starlink? Same here... anywhere from 70 to 95. But I've been online for 20+ years and never needed faster... actually much slower was fine, too, a few years ago. @RoadwarriorTesting download speed

My service is DSL & it's fast enough for me, I could get better with more monthly fees, But Why?
Don't ya just hate that?! I think I'd tell them I'd be glad to do video calls if they foot the monthly bill... "now what's the address to send that invoice to again?"I do get a bit touchy about it, when people tell me I "need to" get better Internet so we can do video calls and so on.
I know, right? They said mine was "very fast." It isn't.Just tested at another site: Went to Google & they offered:
Check your internet speed in under 30 seconds. The speed test usually transfers less than 40 MB of data, but may transfer more data on fast connections.
To run the test, you'll be connected to Measurement Lab (M-Lab) ETC.
They said my internet is fast. I know I download slow.
