Ever had the feeling that you’ve been blacklisted?

It’s almost a year since some quite weird things are happening to me, and I’m not superstitious or some hysterical “conspiracy theorist”. So:

(1) I informed some big companies that I got a patent for something very beneficial to our national interest and security. Only Google answered, while IBM, Amazon, Intel and plenty of others DID NOT, although I contacted them through their “patent submission” sites – this is highly unprofessional and unreasonable!

(2) I contacted Texas Innovators and they showed interest in my patents (I actually have 2 patents, that’s why they said “Your products”). Funny thing: since July they ceased any communication with me although I sent them 6 follow-up emails – since July last year! What is going on? 👇

(3) And there’s more: Houston Innovation Map adamantly refused to answer my 7 emails to them sent over a period of over 4 months. 👇

(4) And the insanity just doesn’t seem to end: On Feb 24th Alan from Pittsburgh University promised to contact me “early next week”, which would mean Mon. or Tue, LAST week. He LIED: never sent any response!!! So I contacted him on Wed THIS week and so far: NO ANSWER, like they all play in the same team …

I really cannot explain this total lack of business manners and disregard for people trying to do something good. These are people from serious businesses, big companies or universities and they just shouldn’t act like jerks …

Don't know about your situation, but I used to work for a company who told us to avoid any contact with people outside the company that might be used to prove we stole someone else's ideas. If we came up with something new they wanted to be able to show that we did it on our own.

It was a patent issue thing, and I don't really understand patent law, but that might be the issue... Just a guess.

They've either started the process of stealing your work, or have determined that they can't make enough money off it...

Did you ever see the movie, "Joy"?
Also, there was a movie about the inventor of the intermittent windshield washer; same thing.
They can take your idea, change it up slightly and reapply for a new patent.

It would take all your life and all your money to fight them.

Yes, I know what you mean: there are companies that don’t accept unsolicited submissions, and then there are businesses that have a certain submission policy – I only submitted to the latter ones. After receiving my Provisional Patent Application (PPA) IBM asked me to submit again when I actually get the patent (the non-provisional), so they were interested in the idea and wanted to see if it will be granted a patent (because one can’t sell an idea, but can sell or license a patent).

Yes - on home improvement contractor lists. After I sued one, I couldn't get anyone else to help me.
So I'm not the only one having all the fun, huh ⁉️
