Still promoting division re: vaccines?

This actually made me laugh and I haven't run into anyone who's said this to me because most people think I am vaccinated even though I'm not, but I did hear someone say to an unvaxxed person that they, the unvaxxed, were still alive only because enough people got vaccinated. I know, I know. I feel the same. Do any of you seriously believe this? I mean, deep down inside where you can admit the truth only to yourself?

that they, the unvaxxed, were still alive only because enough people got vaccinated.
That can't be true of course, that is not the only reason people like you are still alive, but responsible Americans who got vaccinations against this deadly disease definitely helped contain the spread and those who did take the vaccines definitely are less likely to end up in the hospital, severely sick and on a ventilator.....or dead.

Boy Chic, you certainly are an obsessed anti-vaxxer writing all these threads and posts after knowing the affect this deadly worldwide COVID-19 had on our citizens and those around the world. You're probably one of those types who are in denial of all the families who lost a family member to Covid and had to bury their dead due to infection. My sister's husband's family had to bury his brother. If you are, there is no help for you,...too far down that rabbit hole.

I heard the same B.S. with flu shots.
It's an attempt to encourage more vaccination by making people feel like "heroes" for being vaccinated. And villains if they don't.
A few years ago, Kaiser Permanente hung a huge banner above their entrance:
"If you don't get your flu shot, you're making others sick."
Gives new meaning to the phrase, "You make me sick." :ROFLMAO:

The initial strain of the virus was virulent and killing people. I lost a friend before the vaccine was available. I took the first 3 doses because I thought it was important to help slow the spread. Now it’s more like the flu and I don’t take those shots either. I also was very sick for 4 days with each dose.

@chic ... you are not alone.

There are some people who will always be willing to drink the kool-aid or live their lives as a sheeple & go along with the herd mentality. For whatever reason, it seems to make them feel superior to others because they do this & are our proud to admit it. By lumping everyone as a anti-vaxxer reinforces this to them, even though most are not anti-vaxxers, but stood against one shot that wasn't thoroughly vetted & rushed to market.

They are so fixated on this one disease, that they fail to realize what other illnesses & diseases they come in contact with everyday. And this was happening prior to covid. Staph infections, E-coli, salmonella, hepatitis, MRSA, aids, STDs, regular TB, antibiotic resistant TB (from our south border), pneumonia, measles & that's not all. The only way you wouldn't is if you never left your home.

A couple of our friends had mild to moderate cases of covid & only one person we knew in his 90's passed from it. No one else we knew told us of anyone they knew who died from it.

I had the first two shots & I will not do that again. No booster for either myself or my husband. My kids made their own mind up about the shots & decided not to get them. I stand by their decisions.

Which brand of vaccine did you receive? Some are worse than others. I got the Pfizer shot and only had mild side effects that were gone by the next day.

Tell me, how does one get AIDS, hepatitis and STDs from everyday contact? I don't know what you're doing every day, but what I'm doing doesn't put me at risk of any of those diseases. And just who is bringing TB in from our south border?

Don't bother answering. There are clearly "sheeples" on both sides of the argument. Pot, meet Kettle.

Never mind. There are clearly "sheeples" on both sides of the argument.
Give First Aid/CPR to anyone with such an illness without the use of gloves or other PPE & come in contact with their blood or other bodily fluids & you risk getting it. These diseases are out there & you have no idea who you pass in public that may have them.

Also, please re-read my post as it said "antibiotic resistant TB (from our south border)", not pneumonia.

I changed my post to TB after you responded. So you do at least believe in PPE?

And you do not get AIDS simply by coming in contact with someone's blood. It must be through a transfusion or sex. Are you a nurse? Have you had a different experience?

This is a partial from the CDC website: https://www.cdc.gov/hiv/basics/hiv-transmission/body-fluids.html

What body fluids transmit HIV?

Only certain body fluids from a person who has HIV can transmit HIV. These fluids include
  • blood,

No, I'm not medical. I didn't know that must a requirement for discussions. But no matter what I, or anyone else has to say, won't make a difference to you since we don't believe as you do.

We will agree to disagree the vax.

I received Pfizer. The first dose I had the chills was so bad that I couldn’t quit shaking despite turning the heat up, using an electric blanket and piling on blankets. My 2 siblings were much sicker and had Moderna. I don’t think our dna agrees with the vaccines.

My SIL was the same with the Pfizer vax.
