What have you bought recently?

The specs I bought online arrived today. This is the second pai of specs I've bought from this company, and they're really excellent quality..

These new ones

are so lightweight ..they feel like a feather in my hand and on my face ... which is pretty astounding given that I have a high distance prescription. I always have to have the lenses thinned a lot and these are very thin... They cost around £70 something..can't remember exactly .. but this time almost to the day last March I bought readers and computer specs from my regular opticians and they cost £400 plus...

Well, had to go exchange my NEW cell phone as it was not working...the part where you plug in the adapter got messed up, so could not plug it in. Going to return the one I bought the other day back to Amazon

Was a good trip…..items I wanted to stock up on were on sale.

My most favourite yogurt was on an unadvertised special, so I obviously stocked up……have been out since Monday…..and thought I would be waiting till next week to order…..nope…..got some now. .

No gigantic cats, couldn't bare cleaning the litter box after it would use it!

Didn’t fill up…..I see gas has gone up from $1.51 per litre to $1.60 per litre since last week.
It has been $1.51 for quite some time.

Think yourself lucky, in the UK you would pay about £1:70 per litre which translates to $2:84 Cad.

I'm always looking to one holiday ahead. I ordered online some candy for Easter for the husband & adult grandsons. I got some personalized chocolate eggs, dark choc covered cherries & assorted jerky for the one that doesn't like choc.

So did you try to get them replaced under warranty? Most of the time when I screw up I just eat the loss but sometimes you just got to medigate your losses if possible!

Hey, sorry, just noticed your post. Warranty from Holley is good for a whole 90 days. That will teach me next time to get the extended warranty. (not a fan of extended warranty, but, might make an exception in this case).
Anyway, I finally got the new one mounted out back and yee haw, maximum fuel pressure now.

It was 20% discount day at a drug store. Stopped in to pick up a new sunscreen. Also found a press compact with SPF 50. Ended up buying some items for DD and DGD. It brought me over the required limit of a $100 spend to get a $30 credit that will be used for groceries in a sister store.

I spent. Dry kitty food. Ice cream. An Uber card to put in DGD's birthday card. Spent $$, I tell you!

DD and I did our weekly Walmarting except we didn't go to Walmart. Instead we went to Aldi and Publix. What we saved by shopping at Aldi was eaten up by doing the rest of the shopping at Publix, but it was worth it. Neither of us really, really wants to shop at Walmart if we can help it.

@Kaila It's for my Emergency Fund so it'll stay there...at least for a while I hope. Don't want any emergencies!

I dunno yet what would constitute an emergency. It's one of those things that you know when it happens.

A new shower head for the main/guest bathroom. We never use it so didn’t know there was a problem. Good think my DD told me it was spraying. She’s the same one that told us how uncomfortable the guest bed was.

Our ensuite shower head started clogging up too much so it’s being replaced with a shower head on a hose. We don’t need this yet. Just another little planning-ahead update before it’s really needed. Moen, buy it for looks, buy it for life.

And I got "found money" today from the union. It's a check so has to be deposited, but I'm no dummy. Just in case I'm a victim like on the murder shows that I watch, I endorsed it already "for deposit only." It's more $$ to put into my EF.

Because I was more than delighted, DD went to the Starbucks drive-thru and I paid So here we go. It was just burning a hole in my pocket (but there's plenty left for the EF).

Old Sears air compressor, a kind neighbor got a new one...his was from 2002, but gently used....

LOUD 95 db, requires 16 A 120V. To run air tools, fill tires, blow out workspaces, machine chaff.....

A real find!

I don't know if I mentioned it when I ordered them, but the Postage bags and address labels I ordered arrived while I was out yesterday. I've been and do donate lots of very nice things that I no longer want or need ..to Charity shops..

I used to sell a lot of things on Ebay once upon a time.. and haven't for several years.. but I'm going to start selling again, because some of my stuff is of high quality and or is expensive, and I could do with the money rather than donating everything as I do...

Now I need to find a Mannequin.. or a mannequin torso so I can sell clothes ( not something I've sold on ebay before ).. but looking for Mannequin, I'm stunned at how expensive they are..
