Washrooms - How Many in Your House

We have a small house, yet have three bathrooms. Two on the main level and one in the basement, which is partially finished. I’m glad we decided to install that one for guests. They’re all small, except on cleaning day because that’s a fussy job that needs to be done right.

Do you have easy access to one if you have medical issues that prevent easy mobility.

I have one Bathroom and one seprate toilet... never felt the need to wash in the toilet, so I'll just say One washroom..:ROFLMAO:

Both are upstairs so no easy access if I'm downstairs and unable to walk for example..

I notice Canadians call it "washroom" because I used to watch Property Brothers and have watched other shows out of Canada. We call it "bathroom" (or restroom, especially in public places) and in my apartment, there is only one.

I have one in my condo although the bigger condos have 2. When I was raising my kids there were 5 of us and one bathroom. It was a big old house. Then we moved to a different state and suddenly had 3. I would come out of the bathroom and one of my sons would be standing there waiting forgetting that we now had 3😂.

yes we only had one bathroom when I was growing up, for 6 of us.. I find it incredible looking back at how we all coped.

Four, more than we need. One with a huge tub, two with tub/shower combos, and one shower only.
My late fiance was American. When we were traveling and I said something about needing a washroom, he'd say, "What? Are you going to wash your clothes?" When he said rest room, I'd say, "What? Are you going to have a nap?"
What did he call it? I can think of more colorful and descriptive names.

Seven.
I eat a high-fiber diet. :ROFLMAO:
Actually, my property has 2 houses that are connected by a wall. My sister lives in the front section & her house has 3 bathrooms on 2 levels.
I'm in the back section that has 3 levels & 4 bathrooms - 3 with showers & one small one with just a toilet & sink.

Even if we didn’t have all these bathrooms, I’d still like to have a powder room (toilet and sink) so guests wouldn’t have to use my main bath. I had this in one townhouse. It helped with urgent toilet emergencies.

Is a toilet the same as washroom? It’s a paradox to consider the place where you empty your bladder and discharge your intestines a washroom, unless you consider wiping as a form of washing?
