The main problem with the most recent, was those who operated the lab where it was made, were trying to avoid responsibility. For the Chinese, "Loss of Face" is serious.

However, it did show me how the bible was pretty accurate regarding end times. When I'd read of wars and pestilence, I thought "Hey, were good with our drugs, flu shots, polio and others"

But obviously not a manufactured one. Just imagine if someone REALLY wanted to cause panic/fear, is to secretly gain access to modified viruses and let it loose in an airport.

Respectfully, I don't think so. Bill Gates, for whatever reason, oversteps his position and inflates his influence just because he is uber wealthy. Not all wealthy people do that. He's not an elected official so he should, perhaps. butt out of our lives and we'd all be better off and happier for it.

He was never a philanthropist. His so-called donations to charities always brought him new money. Think about his campaigns for vaccination. He is a major shareholder of these companies which produce the vaccines and earns a lot of money, much more than he is donating.

I am sure he is, but he should know a little more about it than many wealthy people. He grew up middle to upper middle class, many of the wealthy didn't have that experience.

I am sure he does, his opinions on things like Covid are no better or worse than a lot of what folks here put out. He is an expert on our level. Big difference is with his money, and fame, he can buy the platforms to spew his opinions and we can't. You are right not all wealthy people do that, but its his money and a free country so he can, and does.

The only way we can help him butt out is to stop buying and using his products. Don't see that happening soon.

Exactly. People who believe he's a philanthropist crack me up. The Bill and Melinda Gates foundation used to BUY influence. Is she still part of that foundation or no?
