What have you bought recently?

An expensive Nolan Ryan beef tenderloin to make Beef Wellington for son when he gets here Friday...it was his birthday this week. Also bought another rug...yeah, yeah, always seem to be buying rugs - this house is too big...lol.

Hey, the tenderloin was so expensive I almost had to give 'em our first born son.

I bought a copy of a book I have owned for many years. It's a 3rd in the Mass observation Diary trilogies from during the WW2 years... I seem to have lost this particualr volume, I can't find it anywhere which is very odd.. so I looked for it online, and got a copy for about £5... only issue is that I had to settle for the Paperback, when in fact my own lost copy is hardback!..anyway I'm going to enjoy reading that tonight when I'm in bed.. I haven't read the 3rd volume in a long time, so it'll be nice..

4 gallons ?... 4 Gallons of ice cream ? well they do say everything is bigger in the USA...jeez I wouldn't even be able to buy 4.5 gallons of ice cream even in the wholesalers..:eek:

Yes, son Mike is an Aries. He lives in Columbus, Ohio with the rest of the clan...owns a software biz and travels extensively. We can travel First Class anywhere but don't...lol.
We also traveled a lot and now are just happy to be planted here.

I'll take a pix of the rug...its for in front of the 2 theater chairs - we're continually spot cleaning there. Glad you like the house. Thanks for the complement, Hollydolly!

well my daughter is an Aries as well, and a high flyer like your son... so if I claim your son as my surrogate can I get some first class travel too... ?:sneaky::D
