A former Google scientist has made a prediction, which if proven right, may redefine human civilisation as we know it. Ray Kurzweil, whose over 85 per cent of 147 predictions have been proven right, has predicted that humans will become immortal by 2029.

My mother who was a devout catholic always said that she didn't believe the bible that hell was below us ... rather that Hell was this life on Earth... if that prediction were to be true, then she'd be right..

Yeah, it would put a real strain on the Social Security system, but think of the graveyard space it would save...

Remember the movie Zardoz? It was about immortal humans, didn't make it look good...
