I'm in gloomy Manchester, UK. The weather is not so good at the moment. We could use a bit of sunshine. Maybe tomorrow will be brighter. I am imagining beautiful Canada. Bet your weather isn't gloomy!!

We are beginning spring, we have had 2 weeks of beautiful sunny days, but it is still pretty cold. The sunshine does gladden the heart but today has been overcast, and this late afternoon it is quite windy. Still there is nowhere else I want to live.

I have trouble sleeping too. I seem to only be able to sleep 2 hours at a time & keep waking up & like you after 4 hours have difficulty getting back to sleep. I was awake last night from 1.30am - 5.30am but eventually managed to get around 4 1/2 hours sleep. Its a pitty we don't have night at the same time we could chat!

Yes when I used to visit them we travelled through Cumbria to get to Walney Island and often made trips into Cumbria with them during the stay. I liked the fresh sea air in Cumbria. Where I live has become pretty built up. Cumbria had nice open spaces.
