How did you handle this? I know they will still allow you to fly, but did you have to fill out an identity verification form? Is that what you had to do?

Considering what normal passport pics look like, I don't see why this is a problem. But you might need a magic marker to get on board.

Depends on how badly I need to travel at that time, and how old I was at the time. At my age now I can laugh about it, however if I was a young mother the kid would have gotten a good spanking!
