Lipstick - Do you still wear it?

I tend to put it on every time I go somewhere, even for a walk. It just makes me feel a little better. I need a bit of colour.

Yesterday we were going out and I made sure I had a comb and lipstick in my purse. Across the restaurant, there was a lady applying her lipstick at their dinner table. She had the mirror and obviously this was a normal routine for her. It doesn’t seem so common to see women refreshing their lipstick, even in the restroom, anymore. Maybe younger people don’t wear lipstick much now. Have you noticed.

I always wear lipstick when I go out... always. I never go anywhere without a lipstick and a comb..like you Jules!

The young women here are very into their make-up... and botox, and fillers..in fact very often the make-up is so overdone it looks like a mask.. but I think we've all seen that.

Older women here tend to not wear it..at least during the day. You don't often see people walking around the lanes and fields with make-up on..

I think if you live in a hot country, you don't wear make-up unless going out for an evening.. I know I never did in Spain... but where it's isn't hot then people are more likely to wear it

I use aloe vera lip balm. It's clear, but enhances my natural lip colour. On my 2nd one. Must order more soon! It's a more "natural" look. Occasionally, I'll put a lipstick over it.

I use chapstick obsessively because my lips get dry, but it doesn’t impart color.

If I’m going out, I use a frosted lip gloss over which I add a light coating of lipstick or lip pencil for an added pop of color

Ad I’ve aged my lips have become thinner and less defined, so I no longer take the time to outline my lips and define my cupids bow.

Pinky, this sounds interesting. Does it colour change for different people depending on skin tone. Sounds like those mood rings we used to have.

Where do you get it from? Amazon?

I love makeup! I love it all! I was a makeup artist. I used to sneak my mother’s makeup and wear it to elementary school. I’m really sad now that makeup doesn’t look good on me anymore. I look like a clown with it.
I can still get away with some lipstick. I love to wear it always because I find that it keeps my lips from getting chapped.
I also wear a little cream blush.
I can no longer wear eye makeup because I have dry eye now😔

I put lip gloss on a lot, throughout the day and particularly when I'm in a tele-meeting as I'm concerned about my lips getting stuck on me teeth when talking. :/
