Gorgeous day!!

We had a beautiful day here in Virginia also. I went on a nice hike that I never had been on that particular trail before. I saw some nice wildlife that you wouldn't think you would see living so close to a big city. I saw white tail deer, plenty of squirrels and rabbits and even a pheasant, but it was a hen. I came upon a stream and like I did when I was a young boy, I got down into the water and overturned some stones and found 2 crayfish. I picked one up and then laid it back down in the water.

That amount of snow would be more than enough for anyone.

Ever notice how if there is snow on the ground but also a bright sunny day but it's kind of cold, you feel better than if it is a warm cloudy day, at least that is how it works for me.

Easter Sunday was a lovely day outside,, we all were out & about enjoying it.

This morning son stated his long drive back to his MI home. :cautious:

Hubby & helper are in the wood pile.
When I went out to see them,, got asked where to dump fresh wood chips.:D

Hubby covered some of the area I 'thought' needed fresh wood chips.
Now I have the chore of spreading them around better.

Lovely dear. It's beautiful out here too but record breaking warmth is headed our way this week.

Here in central New York it's in the low 50's, but warmer days are coming. But since there was no wind today, I took a trip to a local cemetery where a lot of family members and relatives are buried. There always something that has to be repaired or replaced on the graves.

All season. But more than enough for me!
I had a friend in the military that lived in Hazel Green and he invited me to his family's Thanksgiving one year. We were in stationed in Chicago for a short time, so it wasn't a bad drive to get there, but a snowstorm hit that weekend and I was snowed in for 2 days.

Later, he sent me a nice size box that weighed about 3 pounds. I had no idea what was in it, so I was surprised to find 3 pounds of cheese curds. One pound of 3 different types of cheese. His uncle or someone in the family told me the whole story about Wisconsin cheese and I told him that I may stop and pick some up before I leave, but because of the snowstorm, I just wanted to get back to Chicago.

The curds were really good.
