Have you ever gone down a dead end...

Did you turn around?...🤔

Or not?

Or..what??

Dealing with things. Times I do come to a dead end and don’t know what to do. Making decisions about important life changes in particular. After dealing with the death of my dad and freezing up about decisions of sorting things out it would have been better if I had just did things and moved on. Now caring for my terminally ill husband, I pull my granny panties up and deal with everything. Nobody is going to do it for me.

I know it's hard. I have walked your path and I want to reassure you - you WILL come through. You are stronger than you could ever believe though nothing is easy.
One day, even one hour at a time and you can do this.

Metaphorically speaking? My life has been full of dead end relationships, jobs, etc. Usually I had to start over from scratch. For example, sleeping on a relative's couch (again) until I could get back on my feet. Working in fast food (again) until I could get something better.

considering life? then yes I hit dead ends several times. started over time and time again. I am tired now, I have worn out the soles of my shoes and cannot afford new ones(metaphorically speaking) I take comfort in the fact that the jobs I did I always did to the best of my ability, my personalty sux but was never hired for that.

The Serenity Prayer shows the way to approach what appears to be a dead end. It goes as follows: "God grant me the Serenity to ACCEPT what I cannot change, the energy and will to change what I can and the WISDOM to know the difference."

Don't forget that ALL of us must accept suffering and death at the end of life and the only approach to that cataclysm is will power.

I'm age 88 and accept EVERYTHING that WILL happen to me in the near future. It's the only way to approach it.
